Well I found a simple solution to prevent the camera from automatically switch back to main memory even when you have selected a memory card. Simply copying some files (images, videos...) from your computer to the phone's main memory until it's full and you are done. From now on the phone will select the memory card itself when you enter the camera mode.

Hello, I have this phone from Taiwan Mobile, everything in the phone is good, solid construction, big and bright screen, I added a 16gb microSD card and voilà I have an excellent MP3 player. All java games & apps work flawlessly on this phone without problem (make sure you pick the games for 240x320 screen and not those for 320x240 screen). The phone detects and connects automatically on GPRS or 3G network, no problem so far with Internet (there is a virtual pointer that you can move using the left+right+up+down buttons to navigate on a web page). I didn't test the mail, facebook... apps but I guess that it should be fine too. But pay attention, if you are someone who likes taking pictures and making video clips with your phone you will be greatly disappointed with the video feature. The phone only records videos in QCIF format (177x144) @15fps, it means very small and low quality video clips. It's also impossible to watch movies with size bigger than 177x144px despite the large 240x320 screen. The phone does slightly better with taking pictures, but don't expect something exceptional due to the lack of autofocus and flash. Another minor problem with the camera function is that each time you turn the phone off and power it on again, you'll have to select the default memory to memory card again because the camera will "forget" the previous setting and will use the phone's memory instead, resulting in some broken images or videos in preview mode. The 5610 is a better version of this 5180 phone with an upgraded, more performance 5MP camera with autofocus + LED (among other improvements) and looks more elegant. My conclusion : The 5180 is a very good mobile phone, I would recommend it to everyone provided that you don't use it as your primary digital camera.
