There is a feature in the iPhone 5 that is not getting much attention, and that is the technology for the touch screen that apple has came with, in earlier iPhones the display and touch sensors are two separate parts that are laminated together, in the new iPhone 5 Apple has integrated both panels into one which will result a thinner screen.
And the other benefit that the user get from this new screen is that it will be cheaper to replace, so if your screen cracked Apple only needs to replace one part instead of two, and it is more efficient this way because the laminating process sometimes can leave bumps in some displays, which will be thrown away adding to the overall cost, bu with the new display technology that’s not a problem.
