Apple iPhone XS and XS Max announced

At a launch event in California, Apple has announced three new iPhones - iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. 

There are only two differences between the iPhone XS and XS Max which are the display size and the battery capacity.



For the display, the iPhone XS comes with 5.8 inch OLED display with 1,125 x 2,436px resolution while the XS Max comes with 6.5 inch OLED display with 1,242 x 2,688px resolution.

As for the battery for both phones, the company has not revealed specifications but says that the iPhone XS should last 30 minutes longer than iPhone X and the iPhone XS Max should last 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone X.



The rest specs of both phones are:

·         Hexa-core Apple A12 Bionic chipset

·         4GB of RAM

·         64GB/256GB/512GB of inbuilt storage

·         12MP+12MP dual rear camera

·         7MP dual front camera

·         Face unlock feature

·         iOS 12 OS

·         IP68 certification (water and dust resistance)

·         Color options: Silver, Gray and Gold



Both phones will be available for pre-order on September 14 and they will be available for sale on September 21 at price around $1000 for the base version (64GB model) of the iPhone XS and around $1100 for the base version (64GB model) of the iPhone XS Max.
