Huawei unveils the P40 / P40 Pro phone

After a long wait, Huawei announced its flagship phones for this year, which carries the first cameras of its kind in addition to the wonderful specifications.

As for the P40 Pro, it comes with a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a Full HD + resolution an refresh rate 90Hz, and it also includes within the hole at the top a 32MP front camera capable of shooting 4K video at 60 frames per second in addition to the IR sensor, which helps to improve the depth in the pictures And auto focus in the camera, as it is able to read the face in all lighting conditions and unlock the phone through the face print, and there is a fingerprint sensor under the screen


The phone has four cameras, the first is 50MP that includes a RYYP sensor and the largest camera sensor so far, and it also includes 100% autofocus technology with optical image stabilization, while the second camera is 12MP, which is an optical zoom lens that supports optical zoom up to 5X and hybrid zoom up to 20X and zoom Digital up to 100X, the third camera is 40MP for wide-angle photography, and the fourth is a 3D camera to improve depth in pictures. The main camera is capable of shooting 4K video 60 frames per second.

The phone works with Kirin 990 5G chip in addition to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory in addition to the possibility to expand it via an external memory card Nano SD, as the phone comes with Android 10 system, but it does not have Google Play services but Huawei has developed an APP Gallery application which will be a store alternative to googlePlay, Huawei will attract developers to publish and develop applications on this store.


The 4200mAh phone battery supports 40W fast charging and 27W wireless charging, and the phone comes with an IP68 standard that is water and dust resistant.

The price of the phone will be 999 euros and will be available on the seventh of next month.

As for the P40, it also has a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full HD + accuracy but it works at 60Hz and it lacks an IR sensor, while the front camera remains 32MP.


Also, the main rear camera is the same in the P40 Pro version, the wide-angle  camera has become 16MP and the optical zoom camera has become 8MP, and the ToF camera has been removed

The phone also works with Kirin 990 5G chip and 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory


The 3700mAh phone battery supports 22.5W fast charging, but unfortunately there is no wireless charging, and it also comes with the IP53 standard, which means that the phone is water splash resistant.

The price of the phone is 800 euros and will be available on April 7.
