Yesterday, Qualcomm announced at a special conference the Snapdragon 888 chip, which was supposed to be under the name Snapdragon 875, and this chip comes with 5nm technology and an Adrino GPU with updateable Drivers.
Qualcomm did not reveal the full specifications of the chip, but it said that this chip will make a quantum leap in the gaming world because the GPU is able to run games at a 144Hz refresh rate
The chip also comes with a new sensor that is able to make the camera take 120 12MP photos at the same time, which means a full 2.7 gigapixels image.
The first companies that will launch phones with this chip are Xiaomi, Oppo, Sony
