Saturday, January 11, 2014

Qualcomm had displayed in last CES convention its latest processor with the code name Snapdragon 805, the processor is rumored to be featured in one of the biggest phones this year like Galaxy S 5 and HTC One+.

The new processor is loaded with lots of new features; let’s talk about them one by one:

The first feature is the new technology called Ultrasound Notpad, which allow the user to draw and write on any paper near the device and the device’s microphone will pick up the pen’s movement and copy it to the device using ultrasound technology, this technology is supposed to be more accurate and the user don’t even have to use stylus he can draw with a regular pen.

The next features are all about the camera capability, the new features called OptiZoom, Chroma Flash and Action Shot:

OptiZoom is a feature that allows the camera to keep zooming on an object as it keeps moving.

Chroma Flash which allow for more natural colors for the photo even with the flash when used in low light.

And the third feature Action Shot allows the user to touch an object in the video and the camera will lock focus on it while it moves.

The processor is supposed to show in the first phone in May, so we are very interested about which phone will be the first to have it.
