When Apple announced that it agreed to buy Beats Audio last May to 3 billion dollars, it was expected to complete the deal in the second quarter of this year. Officially the completion of the deal is done, although we haven't heard of any authority announced its approval to complete the deal except the European Commission. It should be noted that the news has been confirmed by both Tim Cook and Dr. Dre, who posted tweets on Twitter containing links to the welcome message on the Apple website and on the official website of Beats.
By Apple “people deepen their connection to music. We’re delighted to be working with the team to elevate that experience even further”.
Certainly not all the news are good, it was reported recently that Apple was going to abandon 200 employees of Beats company once it completes the purchase as part of the acquisition, while the rest of the staff will be maintained at Apple. This was confirmed by Apple CEO Tim Cook recently.
