Sony E5706 with SD808 SoC leaks, said to be announced next month

Monday, July 20, 2015

Looks like the rumoured Lavender is not the only phone that Sony might announce next month. According to a new report, the company might also launch a handset dubbed Sony E5706 at the same time.

Specs-wise, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset, and sport a 5.8 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is expected to come with 3GB RAM and feature a 16MP rear- and a 8MP front shooter. The handset is said to run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

While there have been contradictory reports till now on what the Lavender would actually be called, the latest report says that it might launch as the T4 Ultra, and the E5706 as C5 Ultra. Needless to say, none of this has been officially confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt.
