The specifications of
the LG G Pad 2 have been leaked, thanks to known leakster Leaksfly,
who posted the details on his Weibo page yesterday.
According to the leak,
the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 chipset with quad-core CPU and
Adreno 420 GPU, and sport an 8.3-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels
resolution. Going by the screen size, this could well be the sequel to the G Pad 8.3 (shown in the image above), which was
released back in October 2013.
Moving on, the tablet
will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal memory. In terms of camera,
it will feature an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. The device will run
Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Leaksfly also said that the G Pad 2 will be
released in October. There was, however, no word on its pricing, as well as the
markets where it will be released. Needless to say, none of this has been
officially confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt.
