Samsung Electronics Unveils World’s First Wireless Mobile Charging Monitor

Tuesday, July 28, 2015

Samsung is working on a new screen which brings a very fancy design that also features a wireless charging pad on the base. This is the first of its kind and it could work out pretty well. The screen has many other perks aside from wireless charging.

IFA 2015 is going to kick-off on the 4th of September in Berlin, and Samsung is gearing up in order to make a big presence there. Now we’re looking at a Full-HD 24-inch display labeled S24E370DL, as well as a 27-inch panel, the S27E370DS. Both screens come with AMD’s anti-flicker gaming tech and a 178-degree viewing angle, making them ideal for games.

This monitor would be the first to feature wireless charging and it’s actually a very practical idea because a lot of people charge their phones on their desk. The tech company has been looking through various ways to charge your phone without using a wire and this monitor could just be the beginning. We’ll see how this develops and we can’t wait to see what they show us at IFA this year.
