Asus unveils the Pegasus 5000 in China

ASUS Pegasus 5000, the company’s latest smartphone in the Pegasus series has gone official in China, after it got certified by TENAA last month. 

The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels 
The Asus Pegasus 5000 is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and it comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Asus Pegasus 5000 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. 

The Asus Pegasus 5000 runs Android 5.1 and is powered by a 4850mAh removable battery. 

The Asus Pegasus 5000 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. 

The ASUS Pegasus 5000 comes in Blue and Golden colors and is reportedly priced at Rs. 1,299 yuan (US$ 197 / Rs. 13,390 approx.) for the 2GB RAM variant and 1,799 yuan (US$ 273 / Rs. 18,545 approx.) for the 3GB RAM variant. It will be available soon through China Telecom.
