Two news models of Vivo smartphones have gone official in
November 2015; Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus. And
now it seems like it's already working on a successor to the Vivo X6 Plus. That's
because the vivo X6SPlus has just been certified by TENAA.
As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo X6S Plus
will feature a same phablet-sized 5.7-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD Super
AMOLED display as earlier seen on the Vivo X6 Plus smartphone. Under the hood,
it will come powered by unknown 1.8GHz octa-core processor and we can expect it
to be powered by all new Snapdragon 820 SoC. The device has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of
built-in storage and there is no information on the inclusion of the microSD
On the camera cordon, the device will sport a
16MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calling
and crisp selfie images.
It supports dual sim dual standby and includes
standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and
microUSB port. The listing does not reveal the information about the battery
capacity and the device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out
of the box.
no telling when the X6SPlus will be launched, or if it will ever make its way
out of China but We can expect the company to unveil the device officially at
the MWC 2016 event.
