Samsung might be working on a Galaxy A9 Pro

Tuesday, January 26, 2016

Samsung is reportedly working on a new extra-large smartphone which might be called Galaxy A9 Pro. The smartphone has a model number SM-A9100 while the current Galaxy A9 is the SM-A9000.

The The current A9 sports a 6-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixels display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM, so maybe the A9 Pro will come with a higher pixel resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels would look great on a 6-inch screen) and 4GB of RAM, plus a high-end processor. The Galaxy A9 Pro may also run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box - unlike the A9, which currently runs Android Lollipop
