Vivo Xplay 5S seen in the benchmark AnTuTu

Thursday, January 28, 2016

The successor to the Vivo Xplay 3s, Xplay 5s has been spotted on the Antutu benchmark database, revealing a part of the smartphone’s spec-sheet. The Antutu benchmark database lists the Vivo Xplay 5s as carrying the model number PD1516A.

The Vivo Xplay 5s will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 chipset and will have 4GB of RAM and the new Adreno 530 GPU for handling graphics.

The Xplay 5s will be rocking a 5.5-inch sized display with 1440 x 2560 Quad HD resolution, 64GB of internal storage, a 16-megapixel main camera at the back, and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. This high-end smartphone is running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Unfortunately though, no details regarding the release date is available yet. It is likely that Vivo could choose to announce the flagship smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month, but we’re just speculating here.
