Samsung has finally started sending invites for its ‘Galaxy Unpacked 2016’ event for February 21 in Barcelona (a day ahead of the official start to Mobile World Congress 2016), where it is expected to announce the much anticipated Galaxy S7.

The image you see above was included with the invite Samsung sent out. The image doesn't explicitly say Samsung will unveil the seventh generation of its Galaxy phone, the S7.

The South Korean company has also posted a teaser video on YouTube that confirms the new Galaxy will be introduced on February 21st, The video shows a partially opened box with #TheNextGalaxy overlaid on top.

However, we expect the Samsung Galaxy S7 to feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Exynos 8890 SoC or the Snapdragon 820 chipset will be under the hood. 4GB of RAM will be inside, along with a 3000mAh battery. A 12MP BRITECELL camera will adorn the back of the handset.
