recent mobile OS to scale up the charts with its current ranking, which is
to Google's Dashboards, KitKat is still in the lead position with 35.5 percent,
while Android Lollipop versions (5.0 and 5.1 combined) command 34.1
percent of the entire Android smartphone base around the world. Google's
three-generation-old Android Jelly Bean has managed to hold on to a sizable share
of 23.9 percent.
