At Mobile World Congress,
Gionee has unveiled its flagship for 2016, the S8. The phone offers an
all-metallic design, which the vendor calls "loop full-metal design."
The Gionee S8 has been priced at EUR 449
(approximately Rs. 34,000) and will go on sale by end of March in Rose Gold,
Silver, and Gold colours.
The Gionee S8 features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display,
MediaTek's octa-core Helio P10 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal memory, 16-megapixel rear camera , 8-megapixel front camera, 3000 mAh
battery with fast charging support, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Gionee also brings its own Force Touch mode, The Company says that the Smartphone can sense 3 levels of force
including touch to select an app, tap to preview the content of an app, and
press to run the app.

phone is one of the narrowest widths for a 5.5-inch phone.it measures 154.3x74.9x7mm and weighs 148 grams.
smartphone supports dual-SIM (Micro-SIMs) and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS,
fingerprint scanner, and 4G LTE.
