The new iPhone 5 release is speculated to be released in 12 of September 2012, and followed by the release of the new iPad mini in Octobar.
The new feature of the iPhone 5 is rumored to be:
“Longer, thinner screen; offer 4G connectivity (probably only for the US); have better battery life; be the first phone to use a nano Sim, smaller than those in existing smartphones; use a new nine-pin connector; and have a two-tone matte metal backing, replacing the iPhone 4's ceramic. It will not include Near Field Communications (NFC) technology for payments.”
The new iPad mini release would be a clever move to compete with Amazon's 7in Kindle Fire, which launched in the US last October, and Google's Nexus 7, released in July. and this is a known strategy of Apple where they release a top end device and after they Strengthens there position in that category they release a miniature of the same line to control the other half of the market, like in the scenario of the iPod, which is released in 2002 and 2003, and then released the iPod mini in January 2004, which saw sales explode.
The iPad mini features are rumored to be:
“7.85in screen, start with a Wi-Fi-enabled 8GB model; and be priced to compete keenly with rival $200 7in tablets from Amazon and Google.”
