Sunday, September 30, 2012

After the negative feedback from users for the new iOS 6 map app, and in a rare move from Apple CEO Tim Cook, he has published a formal apology on the website, admitting that they have failed in their commitment to providing the “best experience possible” for their customer.

And he urged the users to download alternatives Maps app from the “app store” which they have dedicated a special section called “Find Maps for your iPhone”, or use Google or Nokia maps by going to their websites and creating an icon on the home screen to their web app, where they dedicated a special page also in the website where users can find instruction on how to do that.
