Panasonic Toughpad FZ A2 Rugged Tablet goes official

Panasonic has unveiled the Toughpad FZ-A2 aimed at the enterprise sector. 

The biggest highlight of the Panasonic Toughpad FZ A2 is a fully rugged tablet, high durability and made of magnesium alloy that can withstand drop from up to 1.2 meters in height. It is IP65 certified means resistance to dust and water and can work under extreme temperatures from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2, is not designed with the regular tablet user in mind. Instead, this tablet is ideal for workers in harsh environments.

This new Panasonic tablet is also said to be ideal for those working in the hospitality and retail industries. It's best for those who take orders or those people who need to document many important information.

 This Panasonic Tablet features:

·         10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.

·         Intel Atom x5-Z8550 chipset with a 1.44Ghz quad-core CPU.

·         4GB of RAM. 

·         32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via Micro SD.

·         8MP rear camera.

·         Removable battery that can offer up to 9 hours of usage time.

·         Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

·         Connectivity options: 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG, USB 3.0, HDMI.


The Toughpad FZ A2 is priced at £939 – approximately $1300 USD and it will be available from next month this year.
