Sunday, July 10, 2016

A few days ago, an Exynos 8893 powered Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been spotted on Geekbench benchmark test. This variant scored extremely high on the multi-core portion of the test.

Another variant of the Galaxy Note7 has been spotted on the same benchmark test; this variant was powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset with a quad-core CPU.

The scores for the two variants:

Note 7 with Exynos 8893: single core score 2300, multi core score 8110.

Note 7 with snapdragon 820: single core score 2330, multi core score 5360.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be driven by the Exynos 8893 chipset everywhere but the U.S. and China. In those two markets, we should see the Snapdragon 823 SoC inside. The phablet will be unveiled on August 2nd.
