Huawei unveils the Honor 8

Huawei Terminal's Honor brand, on Monday unveiled its new Honor 8 smartphone at an event in China. The new smartphone will be available in China starting July 19, and will come in three versions - CNY 1,999 ($298, €269) for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage model, CNY 2,299 ($343, €310) for the 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage model, and CNY 2,499 ($373, €337) for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage model. 

The Honor 8 features:

·         5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display

·         Octa-core Kirin 950 processor clocked at 1.8GHz

·         3GB/4GB of RAM

·         32GB/64GB of internal storage

·         12-megapixel dual-rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash

·         8-megapixel front-facing camera

·         Fingerprint scanner at the back

·         Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS

·         3000mAh non-removable battery

·         Dimensions: 145.5x71x7.4mm and weighs 153 grams.

·         Connectivity options include: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and Infrared sensor
