The next generation of iPhone to be released in mid-September

Saturday, July 23, 2016

It seems that iPhone’s lovers don’t have to wait too much to see the upcoming 2016 iPhone models.

According to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), who is usually very reliable when it comes to these things, the next generation iPhones will be launched in the week starting September 12.

The next-generation iPhone is expected to be called the iPhone 7, but there have been some rumors suggesting Apple could drop its standard numbered naming convention, instead calling the 2016 iPhone the "iPhone Pro." It is unclear at this point if those rumors are accurate.

The iPhone 7 will feature according to previous leaks:

·         4.7-inch screen with a 1334 x 750 pixel resolution

·         Next-generation A10 processors

·         32GB of internal storage

·         2GB or 3GB of RAM

·         12MP dual rear cameras

·         1,960mAh battery

·         Color options: Silver and Space Grey, Gold and Rose Gold
