New Android Phone With Physical Call and Message Buttons goes official

Japanese handset maker Sharp has unveiled a new smartphone featuring physical call, home, and message buttons; called Sharp Basio 2 (SHV36). This is the first known Android 6.0 Marshmallow running smartphone sporting physical buttons for call and message. The physical buttons allow quick access to phone's dialer and messages.

The Sharp Basio 2 will go on sale in Japan starting August 5 and features:

·         5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 4

·         Octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor

·         2GB of RAM

·         16GB of storage can be expanded via microSD card

·         13-megapixel rear camera

·         5-megapixel front camera

·         2810mAh battery

·         IPX5/IPX8 certification which means it is water and dust resistant

·         Color options: Dark Blue, Dark Red, and Gold

·         Connectivity options: 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB
