New HTC Bolt photos reveal a metal design, no 3.5mm audio jack

Saturday, October 15, 2016

HTC is now almost ready to unveil another mid-range smartphone: the HTC Bolt (codenamed Acadia). Yesterday, some fresh leaked images surfaced online that tell us all about the smartphone - at least in terms of design.

As we can see from the images, the HTC Bolt kind of looks like the HTC 10 flagship, all-metal design and a fingerprint scanner found on the front.

The volume controls and power button are found on the right side while two trays (one for microSD and one for SIM) are found on the other side.

Another important thing to note is that the HTC Bolt does not have a 3.5mm headset jack, likely becoming HTC's first modern handset to ditch the widely used audio port.

As for specifications, previous rumors suggest that the device will feature:

·         5.5-inch full-HD display

·         3GB of RAM

·         64GB of inbuilt storage

·         18-megapixel rear camera with dual Led Flash

·         8-megapixel front-facing camera

·         Android Nougat 7.0 OS
