LG U announced with octa-core CPU, 13MP camera

LG has announced a new smartphone. Dubbed LG U. The new handset was announced in South Korea, LG's home country. 

The LG U sports:

·         5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels

·         1.14 GHz octa-core processor

·         2GB of RAM

·         32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via Micro SD (up to 2TB)

·         13MP rear camera

·         8MP front facing camera

·         3000mAh battery

·         Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS

·         Dimensions: 147.6x73.2x7.7mm and weighs 135 grams

·         Connectivity options: 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB port.

·         Color options: Black, White, and Pink

 As for price, the LG U carries a tag of KRW 396,000, which translates into around $345 at current exchange rates. It will go on sale in South Korea by the end of the month.

There's currently no word on if and when it will be available in other markets worldwide.
